Captain J. has been fishing since he was strong
enough to hold a fishing pole.  He grew up
freshwater fishing for trout and small mouth bass
with his father and grandfather.   At the age of 15
(1989) his family moved to Murrells Inlet when he
immersed himself into saltwater fishing.  Since 1989
he has a countless amount of hours chasing and
learning the habits of nearly everything that swims
in local waters.  If there is a specific species that
you are targeting or you just want to catch what is
biting, Captain J. is the guide that you are looking
for.  Not only is he a guide, fishing is his passion
and he stays current as to what is biting by fishing
on his days off. He is not a guide that just shows
up, he loves what he does and where he does it.   
Saltwater is his home away from home……..salt
runs through his veins!   One of the best things
about Murrells Inlet and Captain J.,  is there is
always more than one option and he truly enjoys
taking people fishing as much as fishing himself!
